Mekeya day is about sharing the daily life of an average cameroonian for a day. We visit the city of course, but we also fallow him in his daily activities such as going to the market to buy the meal of the day, to attend the cooking of this meal etc.
After crisscrossing Douala, we ended the evening in a circuit (local restaurant) where we tasted the flavors of the cameroonian food, all washed down with local drink, in a cameroonian musical atmosphere.
What i remember from this visit is the perpetual motion of moto taxi between the cars, the walk in some neightborhoods where we sometimes had to fork between several houses or huts, jump over small channels to reach the road, the huts built in marshy areas and flooded at least of rain.
This offer incluedes:
- Guided tour of Douala in foot and by car
- The lunch
- The dinner
